Perceptions



Since the day he'd defeated Voldemort, Harry Potter wore an infuriating smirk. It nearly drove Severus insane. He itched to wipe that smug smile off the brat's face. One day, when Potter's grin grated on Severus's last nerve, Severus leaned forward, intent on crowding Potter, on intimidating him. He hadn't planned on… well… that.

But that happened. It was press and slide and ohmygods tongue! It was grope and skin and Merlin!Yes! Right there!

When he pulled away, panting and sated, Harry Potter grinned all the wider. Funny how after tasting that mouth, Severus found the smirk entirely palatable.

You packed a hell of alot into 100 words.

I can totally see Severus wanting to wipe the smirk off Harry's face, and the total shock on his face when Harry kisses him! Of course Sev found the smirk palatable after tasting Harry's mouth, who wouldn't!

Here via dementordelta's stellar review of this lil drabble. I <3 all the squishy snarry kissing, and the imagination use to discover what happened. <3 it more that it is from Severus's POV, as he is the one who is worst at admitting warm, fuzzy feelings, and yet he says it quite nicely here.
